At Home Appointments

Our goal is to provide professional, and accessible care to individuals living in and around the Winnipeg area. We treat in various environments including  businesses, homes, hospitals, personal care homes, and independent/assisted living facilities to make receiving care comfortable and convenient.  We bring the skills, equipment and experience to people of all ages to address various issues including pain, chronic disease, lack of mobility and recovery from surgery or injury.

Finding the solutions that work for you

Your therapist will begin the session by taking a detailed health history. A physical assessment will be conducted to measure mobility, strength and function. A diagnosis will then be determined through analysis of your health history and assessment findings. Your therapist will explain your diagnosis and a treatment plan will be created, ensuring it is tailored to your personal lifestyle, needs, and health goals.

Initial assessments run from 45 to 60 minutes a session. Subsequent appointment durations will be planned, discussed and determined on an individual basis.

ACUPUNCTURE - $10 tray fee (in addition)

Acupuncture began in ancient China and is utilized as a modern method of pain relief. It utilizes thin needles which are inserted into acupressure points which helps the body create its own natural pain relief chemicals called endorphins. Through this chemical release, acupuncture facilitates nerve activation, decreases pain and promotes relaxation and healing of the body.

Maintaining Independence

Catering to the needs of the seniors in our community is very special to us. As we undergo the aging process we naturally experience decreases in strength, muscle mass, bone density, and balance.  Unfortunately, these issues often result in pain, or reduction in mobility and independence. Exercise is one of the best ways to prevent or reduce the impact of age-related change. Our goal as clinicians is to work with our patients to reduce fall risk, maintain or improve mobility and increase strength and endurance of muscles in the comfort of their residence. We work with our clients to develop specific strength, mobility or balance programming that is safe and supervised specifically for their needs. We also are able to provide supplementary therapy to patients currently in hospital or other care facility by coordinating care with the treatment team and family members. We take great pride in providing care to facilitate the highest level of health and independence for each individual.
We treat various conditions including: Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Fractures, Stroke, Heart attack/ cardiovascular disease, Respiratory Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Joint replacements and Balance impairments

Senior Physiotherapy

Healthcare Budget Cuts

Many physiotherapy services that were offered in our hospitals and healthcare system have recently been removed due to the federal health care budget cuts. We believe these services are pivotal to educated recovery following surgery or other ailments. If you, or a loved one are affected by the recent changes, we are here to help fulfill that role. Please contact us for more information.

Adults and Children

If you are finding it difficult to access the care you need, mobile physiotherapy may be the solution. We provide services to individuals with busy home or work schedules in whichever location is most convenient. Transportation and child care is not required as we are happy to serve you in your home environment. We are able to treat acute or chronic conditions and develop programming for a return to work/sport or simply to improve overall health.

We are proud to provide care to the youth of our community. We work with children of all ages who are managing a variety of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, developmental or congenital conditions. Some of these conditions include: cerebral palsy, hip dysplasia, gait variation, muscle imbalances, overuse injuries, fractures, strains/sprains, and scoliosis. We determine an individualized treatment plan that is age appropriate to address their symptoms and aids management of their condition.
